Indian Olympian and LPGA regular, Aditi Ashok of Bangalore carded rounds of 73-69-70-73 for a total score of 3-under 285 to finish Tied-11th at the inaugural US$ 1mn Saudi Ladies International on the Ladies European Tour. The US $1mn prize tag made it the richest event on the LET, outside the majors and played out at the Royal Greens and Country Club.
The same course hosted the Men’s European Tour’s US$ 3.5mn Saudi International in 2019 and 2020.

The event was won by 24-year-old, Danish golfer, Emily Pedersen, for her second win of the season after winning Czech Ladies Open earlier in August. Interestingly, Emily’s maiden LET title came at the 2015 Hero Women’s Indian Open, where she shot 70-73-73 to win by a shot over the trio of Malene Jorgensen, Becky Morgan (2018 winner of the Hero Women’s Indian Open) and Cheyenne Woods.
Aditi’s heroics earned her US$ 16,312 (₹12,15,840) in prize money, moving her to 21st on the LET’s Order of Merit. Aditi was joined by Ladies European Tour winner Diksha Dagar, Tvesa Malik and Astha Madan in the field. While Astha failed to make the cut, Tvesa finished 64th with 15-over 303 and Diksha, 65th with 16-over 304.
The next stop on LET’s schedule – US$ 500,000 Saudi Ladies Team International/Individual is going to be on the same course from Nov.12th – 15th.
