22-year-old, Gaurika Bishnoi is excited to restart her 2020 season with the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour’s (HWPGT) return from December 1st. Talking over the phone, Gaurika said, “Very exciting news that WGAI is restarting the tour. A bold step that comes with all the precautions and planning. I was pretty disappointed when I learnt that the tour schedule had been impacted due to COVID. During this time off, I focused on working on my fitness and my short game, I knew I wouldn’t get such an opportunity again! Looking at the silver lining amidst this mayhem helped me to cope well and be productive at the same time.”
Gaurika, who has been spending time at DLF Golf & Country Club, keeping her game sharp, since the lockdown started in March has been keeping herself busy doing charity work with Bhajan Global Impact Foundation, distributing masks and food to daily wage workers and families.
Gaurika turned professional in 2016 and has finished No.1 on the Order of Merit, twice:- 2017 (₹12,45,400) & 2019 (₹11,84,100) and as the joint-best Indian professional at the 2018 Hero Women’s Indian Open on the Ladies European Tour at DLF Golf & Country Club.

The Tour returns with its 7th Leg from Dec.1st-4th at Noida Golf Course, followed by Dec.7th-11th at DLF Golf & Country Club.
