Women’s pro Tour plays spectacular DLF G&CC

28-year-old Amandeep Drall from Panchkula, near Chandigarh completed a wire to wire victory with remarkable rounds of 70-70-73 (3-under 213) to get the better of the spectacular and formidable DLF Golf & CC course to claim her second title of 2020 This was Amandeep’s 10th career win and second since she won in Bangalore earlier this  year.

Drall was  the top-pro at  Noida Golf Course last week, the first event since lockdown on the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour (Hero WPGT).

Drall  turned professional in 2015 and since then has won every year on tour.

The Bakshi sisters, Jahanvi and Hitaashee, also playing in their 2nd event as professionals,  finished third and eighth respectively. Jahanvi shot rounds of 72-79-69 (220) and Hitaashee 74-74-78 (226) to mark their presence on the pro tour.

Other notables  included – Gurgaon’s Tvesa Malik  tied-5th (+8, 71-78-75), Mysore’s Pranavi Urs tied-5th (+8, 74-71-79), Delhi’s Ridhima Dilawari 7th (+9, 77-72-76), Order of Merit leader Vani Kapoor finished ninth (+12, 79-73-76) and European Tour  winner, Diksha Dagar finished 22nd (+31, 79-83-85). 

The Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour ( HWPGT) now moves to the 3rd leg of the Delhi swing and the year’s final event, at ITC Classic Golf & Country Club, Gurgaon after playing in Noida and DLF.
