The Japan Golf Tour Organisation ( JGTO) has another 22 events lined up all the way till November and we hope to see Rahil play a full season to retain his playing rights on that tour. The only other Indian to have played extensively in Japan was Jeev Mikha Singh who enjoyed four wins and over a decade of stellar performances in that country starting in 1995.
In 2020, Rahil, who shifted base from Kolkata to Bangalore a couple of years back, could play only three Japan Tour events, making cuts in two, with tied-37th finish at the US$ 10mn SMBC Singapore Open being his best. Rahil played in four events on the PGTI starting in December, tying for fourth at the ₹ 1.5crore Tour Championship in Jamshedpur.
