Symetra Tour
Nishtha Madan, formerly from Gurgaon, shot rounds of 67-70 (3-under par) to finish tied-24th at the US 175,000 Symetra Tour event outside Rochester in New York.
Nishtha graduated in Psychology from Sacramento State University in May 2020 and turned professional the same month. She has already notched up five pro wins playing on the Cactus Tour, a developmental tour based out of Arizona. and the Kentucky Women’s Open.
Nishtha, who holds limited playing rights on the Symetra Tour, was playing her second event of the season there and stood Tied-6th after the opening round, while an even-par 70 on day two dropped her into a tied-24th finish, as the event was shortened due to inclement weather. Emma Broze of France won with a total of 8 under par.
