25-year-old Tvesa Malik of Gurgaon, fresh off a two week break from tour, shot 73-66-68 (9-under 207) to finish tied-11th at the US$ 240,000 Swiss Ladies Open, taking her total European season earnings to US$54,000 (₹ 39.7 lacs) from 10 cuts in 13 events.
Other Indians in the field included Olympian Aditi Ashok who shot 70-69-71 (6-under 210) to finish tied-20th, Vani Kapoor who shot 73-72-67 (4-under 212) to finish tied-29th and Gaurika Bishnoi, who was playing in her first LET event since the 2020 Women’s NSW Open shot 73-69-71 (3-under 213) to finish tied-35th.
Amandeep Drall (3-over 147), Ridhima Dilawari (6-over 150) and Astha Madan (21-over 165) failed to make the cut-line set at 1-over 145 for the weekend.
While Aditi will head to America and the lucrative LPGA Tour , Tvesa will play the US$ 350,000 Ladies Open de France from Sep.16-18. Amandeep Drall, Gaurika Bishnoi, Ridhima Dilawari, and Vani Kapoor will remain in Switzerland to join Asmitha Sathish, Durga Nittur and Pranavi Urs for the US$ 40,000 Lavaux Ladies Open from Sep. 15-17.
