Gaganjeet Bhullar
33-year-old former European Tour winner Gaganjeet Bhullar, the only Indian in the field shot 72-69-70-72 (3-over 283) in Mallorca to make the cut in his final event of the 2021 European Tour season.
He is expected to finish at 149th on the European Tour’s Rankings, and will enjoy only partial exemption for the 2022 European Tour season and will have to divide his time between Europe and Asia in 2022.
The Asian Tour has announced its resumption with two US$ 1mn prize money events in Phuket during Nov/Dec in Thailand and boosted with a joint sanction of the US$ 5million Saudi International in Feb 2022, is looking at heightened purses provided travel sanctions in Asia are relaxed.
