The 18th annual Madhav Rao Scindia Golf Tournament returned to its permanent host venue DLF Golf & Country Club for another glittering edition as around 100 corporate and business leaders teed off in the event which was played in the four member Texas scramble format. The format allowed for low scoring, team bonding and general entertainment and proved highly popular with many who had never experienced this form of play before. The event ended with the traditional Gala Dinner hosted by Rajmata Madhavi Raje Scindia as Chief Guest with a lavish dinner spread and elaborate prizes for the top 3 teams. To make the event more fun, there were 10 contests on course for winners in each format.
The event raises funds for education and medical care of underprivileged families in the Gwalior region besides supporting one promising young Indian pro golfer each year.
