This issue of India Golf Weekly is our 52nd weekly edition, marking the completion of one year bringing the best of Indian golf news to our readers. While earlier the same team used to produce the printed copies of Golf Digest India for the previous four years, the pandemic halted this and when we realised a few months later that Indians had embraced all things digital like never before, only a digital edition made sense.
Being online, monthly issues made no sense at all because in today’s age of instant and live reports on everything, readers cannot be asked to wait a month to learn what’s happening. Hence we went with the weekly format, which we are happy to say has been so well received by our readers and thus endured.
As readers must be aware, we aim to capture in a 10 minute read, everything significant happening with Indian players and in Indian golf, whether that news is available anywhere else on the internet or not. Club news and pro news is covered alike.
We aim to strive to continuously improve the quality of our content and insights encouraged by the feedback we receive constantly from our readers. Most satisfying is the fact that we know how many of you receive, read and enjoy being kept up to date.
Importantly, our job is to keep readers informed, engaged and connected to what’s happening around the world concerning Indian golf. As you all know, there is no other single platform or publication that covers Indian golf the way we do.
We also feel it is our duty to build the profile of the sport, cover best practices in the golf ecosystem and to help acknowledge the performances of our star players, pros, juniors, girls and boys.
