Competing for the first time since his runner-up finish at the US$ 20mn Players Championship, Anirban Lahiri shot another four solid rounds of 68-73-69-70 (8-under 280) to finish in a tie for 13th and add over US$150,000 to his earnings at the US$ 8.6mn Valero Texas Open in San Antonio, Texas.
The 34-year-old continues at 87th in the World Golf Rankings, marking the return of an Indian to the top 100 after a few years. He is currently 55th on the FedEx Rankings for the season but is virtually assured of a spot in the Fedex Cup playoffs at the end of the year.
