The R&A and Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation (APGC) announced various dates at its recent meeting held during the Queen Sirikit Cup in Singapore.
The Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific (WAAP) Championship 2022 edition will be played on the Waterside Course at the Siam Country Club in Thailand from November 3-6.
The winner will be invited to compete in three Major championships: the AIG Women’s Open, Amundi Evian Championship and, for the first time, the Chevron Championship, to be played in Texas in 2023. In addition, they will also be invited to the Augusta National Women’s Amateur and the Hana Financial Group Championship.
Men’s Championship – APAC 2022 –
The Asia-Pacific Men’s Amateur Championship (APAC) 2022 is scheduled for Oct. 27-30 at Amata Spring Country Club in Thailand.
Senior’s Championship – APGC 2022 –
The Asia Pacific Golf Confederation’s Senior Championship is scheduled for Nov. 23-25 at Kota Permai in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
