Among the 16 Indians in the field, Shubhankar Sharma who took a week off from the European Tour and the promising Veer Ahlawat posted total scores of 11-under 277 to finish tied 12th at the US$ 1.5mn International Series Singapore at Tanah Merah Country Club (Tampines Course) in Singapore.
Ahlawat was in 3rd place at -10 after 36 holes but couldn’t sustain his momentum over the weekend and dropped back.
Last week’s winner at the US$ 500,000 Mandiri Indonesia Open, Gaganjeet Bhullar shot a strong last day 66 to be the next best Indian in 31st place tied with 2017 Masters Champion Patrick Reed who decided to play the event as part of his allegiance to LIV GOLF who also bankrolls the International Series on the Asian Tour.
Reed did provide fans some entertainment in the form of a hole-in-one with an 8-iron on the 171-yard 14th hole on Saturday.

Rashid Khan, Ajeetesh Sandhu, and Jyoti Randhawa, finished 36th at 7-under 281. S.S.P. Chawrasia finished 52nd and Aman Raj who aced the par-3 16th in Rd 2, tied for 57th.
