Milind Soni, Rayhan Thomas and Raghav Chugh to represent India in Paris

The Indian Golf Union’s 3 man team of Milind Soni, Rayhan Thomas and Raghav Chugh arrived in Paris this week to represent India in the Men’s World Amateur Team Championships (Eisenhower Trophy) from Aug. 28-Sep.3. They will play the same courses as the ladies did last week including the incredibly challenging Ryder Cup course –  Le Golf National.

Soni, who is from Hyderabad, won the IGU trials for the World Amateur Golf Championship in Hyderabad a couple of months ago while Chugh, a freshman at Rice University, Texas, was the runner-up at the selection trials and was also voted as the most successful first year college player in the region. The 3rd spot on the team went to Thomas, who grew up in Dubai and now plays for Oklahoma State University as the highest ranked amateur in the world rankings.  Thomas finished second at the 2018 Asia Pacific Amateur Championship in Singapore.
