The Tour should boost participation in Western India
In a very welcome boost for Junior golf in Western India, a region that has lagged behind in producing young talent, the IGU announced The McDonald’s Western India IGU Junior & Amateur Tour 2022.
The tour plans to play 10 events in 5 cities – Mumbai, Pune, Baroda, Ahmedabad & Lonavala in next 3 months – September to December 2022, starting with the Pune Open Golf Championship from Sep. 20-22 at Poona Golf Club and quickly followed by the Oxford Golf Resort Championship from Sep. 26-28 in Pune.
