The much spoken about second season of the Saudi-backed rebel LIV Golf Invitational league is scheduled to begin Feb. 24 from El Camaleon Golf Club in Mexico and will stage 14 events around the world in 2023 after staging 8 events in its first season with Individual and team competitions and the season finale in Saudi Arabia.
Having recently announced a TV Broadcast deal, LIV golf doesn’t seem to be going away. With several major winners playing LIV Golf, it remains to be seen if the fan appeal increases and whether the teams are able to pick up sponsors or owners, which is the stated intention of LIV Golf officials.
