Vidhatri Urs & Nishna Patel are headed to Philippines for the Queen Sirikit Cup
17-year-old Vidhatri Urs of Mysore, sister of last years’ Hero Tour #1, Pranavi Urs and 15-year-old Nishna Patel of Mumbai successfully qualified to represent India at the upcoming 43rd Queen Sirikit Cup (Asia Pacific Amateur Team Championship) in Philippines.
The selection trials for the Queen Sirikit Cup was played at the ITC Classic Golf & Country Club, Gurgaon featuring the top IGU ladies amateurs competing over five rounds or 90 holes to go to the scenic Manilla Southwoods Club in Philippines from 20th to 23rd February 2023.
The 3rd team member hasn’t been announced yet as India’s #1 amateur , Avani Prashanth was unable to attend the qualifier as she was competing in the Kenya Open on the Ladies European Tour and is not certain to be able to join the Indian team in Philippines due to her 10th board examinations starting on Feb 27th.
