Sneha has won two of her last three pro events on the Hero WPGT

17-year-old Sneha Singh of Hyderabad claimed the Hero WPGT’s fifth leg at Golden Greens Golf Club in Gurgaon with a spectacular eagle on the par 5 18th. Despite strong winds, Singh hit a five-iron from 184 yards to 24 feet and rolled in the putt to claim her second title as a professional by one stroke over Gaurika Bishnoi who birdied three of the last four holes in her quest to catch Singh.

Sneha looked like she would win comfortably as she held a 3 stroke lead with 4 holes to play but two birdies by Gaurika on 15 & 16 v a bogey and par by Sneha saw them tied. Gaurika birdied the last but Sneha’s eagle provided the thrilling finish to a hard fought battle in which the 3rd place finisher was 7 behind Gaurika.

Sneha shot 68-71-69 to finish at 8-under 208, while Gaurika shot 70-71-68 to finish at 7-under 209.
