Arjun Atwal, still India’s only winner on the PGA Tour, made the cut in the Senior PGA Championship held from May 25-28 at Fields Ranch East in Frisco, Texas, with scores of 73-72-72-75 (4-over 292), finishing 49th.
In the final round, Atwal was paired with Jim Furyk, the 2018 Ryder Cup captain and 2003 U.S. Open champion.
Meanwhile, revered Indian golf legend, Jeev Milkha Singh, unfortunately missed the cut by a single stroke in his consecutive second appearance at the Senior PGA Championship with rounds of 76-72 (+4) after receiving a special exemption from the USPGA last month to participate.
