After 3 Indian girls played the Dutch Juniors last month, it was the turn of the boys as the IGU Team of Yuvraj Singh, Anant Singh Ahlawat and Rohit represented India at the Dutch Amateur Championship played outside Amsterdam last week.
The tournament included a team event, the Nations Trophy, in which India finished third with rounds of 144-139 (1-under 283), 7 strokes behind the winning Dutch team.
In the individual event, India did not fare well. Yuvraj Singh from Amritsar, no.1 ranked on IGU’s Order of Merit, shot 3-over 287 to finish tied-34th, while Anant Singh Ahlawat, the 2018 All-India Amateur champion finished 46th and Haryana’s Rohit missed the cut.

Last month, Nishna Patel, Zara Anand and Jahanvi Prakhya played the Dutch Junior Open in which Nishna finished 4th and Zara, 15th.
