Drive Against Cancer is scheduled for Oct. 6 at Delhi Golf Club
India Golf Weekly readers all across India are invited to support the Indian Cancer Society’s 13th annual fund raising golf tournament being held at the iconic Delhi Golf Club on Friday October 6th 2023. A donation of Rs 20,000 entitles you to an individual entry, Rs 40,000 for a pair while Rs 1 lac entitles you to be recognised as a “Hole Donor” and one fourball.
The Delhi Golf Club’s championship, par 72 Peacock course will welcome golfers from across India and committed annual donors have ensured the society is assured of a successful fund raising event before the first shot is played !
For the first time in the tournament’s history, the organisers of the annual World Golfers’ Invitational have offered the two winning individual golfers complimentary entry and stay in the World Golfers’ Invitational which will see some 400 golfers from 30 countries play over 5 rounds at the best golf courses in Phuket from November 4-11, 2023.
But besides this singular honour awarded to the tournament, other attractive giveaways for all, on course on course contests and prizes will make it an experience in which every golfer feels like a winner!
Tee offs between 7.45 and 9.45 am on the front and back nine will end with lunch and the announcement of winners. Delectable lunch , Lucky draws and raffles will commence after the last group completes the game at around 3 pm.
The annual charitable tournament raises funds towards facilitating cure, rehabilitation of underprivileged patients besides creating awareness, encouraging early detection among the masses, and offering support to survivors.
