Kartik Singh wins the overall title at Delhi Golf Club
13-year-old Kartik Singh has been consistent with his golf for over a year now. His latest accomplishment – a win in the Indian Golf Union’s (IGU) NCR Junior Boys Cup at Delhi Golf Club.
Kartik shot 70-73-69-73 (3-under 285) to win the Category A&B Combined and the Category B events by five strokes over Ranveer Mitroo of Delhi, becoming the only golfer to finish with a total score under-par in the competition.
In Category A, Rakshit Dahiya shot 69-77-70-75 (3-over 291) to edge out Sukhman SIngh of Noida, who shot 76-73-71-72 (4-over 292), by a single stroke. Both however ended up behind 13 year old Kartik .
In Category C, Chaitanya Pandey of Delhi shot 78-76-73 (11-over 227) to win by three-strokes over Arihaan Beri of Uttar Pradesh at 77-78-75 (14-over 230).
