Indians headed to Spain for Chola World Corporate Challenge Finals

Ajay Reddy of Hyderabad and Ajay Kasana of Delhi, winners of the 2023 Chola World Corporate Challenge National Finals held in Bangkok last April,   will represent India in the WCGC World Finals in Tenerife, Spain from Oct. 2- 6th, competing against winners from 25 other nations in this prestigious event.

The pair qualified after four regional rounds were held in Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai and Hyderabad after which 16 winners, four from each region, played the National Final in Bangkok in the 23rd annual edition in India of this enduring corporate challenge. 

The WCGC is currently played in more than 25 global territories representing an international network of National Golf Tournaments. The winners from each country compete in the World Final, representing their company and country in conditions that resemble a professional tour event and on world class courses and golf tourism destinations.

The World Corporate Golf Challenge is the longest continuously running multi-city corporate tournament in India, having kicked off in 1999 and is one of the largest corporate golf tournaments in the world. It is arguably the most established global «Business to Business» golf tournament open to top-level executives worldwide who share a passion for golf. Since its inception in 1993, WCGC has grown so much that more than one million golfers from over fifty countries have participated. 

Indian players have won the World Final on two occasions and have been runner-ups on two other occasions. 

During the World Final of the 2023 World Corporate Golf Challenge in Tenerife, celebrity footballers, former Ryder Cup captains and world famous golf trick shot artists will meet and engage with the corporate challengers.
