22-year-old Diksha Dagar, currently 4th in the Ladies European Tour rankings with a win and six top-10 finishes to her name this season, captained a four member team to 9th place finish at the lucrative US$ 500,000 Aramco Team Series played at Hong Kong Golf Club.
The team consisted of two English LET players Meghan Mclaren and Rosie Davies and one amateur. The captain picks one pro team member and the second is allocated by draw.
The Aramco Series consists of this unique team format with five events in 3 continents – Singapore, Florida, London, Hongkong followed by the final in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and offers a total prize fund of US$5 million.
The 54-hole tournament in HK was reduced to 36 holes due to an alert for Typhoon Koinu.
Due to the typhoon (T8) alert that will be issued by the Hong Kong government today, the 3rd round has been officially cancelled
There will be a playoff to determine the winner, which will take place at 9:30am on the 18th hole #RaiseOurGame | #BringTheEnergy pic.twitter.com/EWITmUOety
