22-year-old Diksha Dagar who was recently honoured with the Arjuna Award, shot rounds of 72-71-70 to register a tied-7th finish with her total score of 3-under 218 at the US$ 750,000 Simone Cup at the scenic Pondok Indah Golf Course in Jakarta.
Atthaya Thitikul, from Thailand, a two-time winner on the LPGA shot 68-65-69 to win the individual competition at a total score of 14-under 202. Daeyon Lee of South Korea shot 68-70-71 to finish runners-up at 7-under 209, seven-strokes behind Thitikul.

Gaurika Bishnoi – T-36th (71-78-76)
Hitaashee Bakshi – T-41st (74-76-77)
Khusi Khanijau – T-54th (79-77-86)
In the team competition, team India 2 consisting of Diksha Dagar and Gaurika Bishnoi shot a total score of 6-over par to register a tied-9th finish. Team India 1 represented by Hitaashee Bakshi & Khusi Khanijau totaled 37-over par to finish 25th in the tournament.
As many as 13 top-ranked Indian girls could not be considered for selection for the Indian team as they were busy with the Ladies European Tour qualifier in Morocco on the same dates. Since Diksha was already exempt from qualifying, she was able to make the trip to Indonesia.
