Gurgaon’s Hitaashee Bakshi who won the Thai LPGA Qualifying Tournament last month, carded an amazing 64 at the super challenging DLF Golf & CC Gary Player course in Gurgaon, which consisted of a front 9 played in 8 under 28 which may be the best ever round played in the 15 years of the Women’s Golf Association of India.
She finished with rounds of 64-66-75-73 to register a massive nine shot victory at a total score of 10-under 278 at the Hero WPGT’s sixth leg.
The tournament offered a record ₹25 lacs in prize money, the most ever on the women’s tour in India till date and attracted 40 entries.

Gaurika Bishnoi, carded rounds of 73-72-70-72 finish runner-up at 1-under 287. Only two players managed to shoot under par total in the tournament.
Hitaashee, previously won the third leg at Tollygunge Club in Kolkata. With a win in Gurgaon, Hitaashee reclaimed her top spot on the Hero Order of Merit with total earnings of ₹8,95,000 of which she made ₹3,10,000 from her win in the DLF tournament.
Hitaashee and Sneha Singh have both had two wins so far this season.
The tour is expected to announce its future venues and tournaments soon.
