23-year-old Diksha Dagar, who finished 3rd on the 2023 Ladies European Tour (LET) Final Rankings, had another strong tied-3rd place finish at the US$ 320,000 Joburg Ladies Open, in South Africa after rounds of 73-71-69-70.
This is Diksha’s 3rd top 10 of 2024 in 6 starts and she has climbed to her highest position in the World Golf Rankings at 138th, which helps solidify her qualification for the Paris Olympics, where she will join Aditi Ashok who remains ranked in the top 50 based on a strong 2023 season.
Last month, Diksha played two events on the LPGA’s Epson Tour in USA where she finished 26th and 15th.

Tvesa Malik, who qualified for the Joburg open based on her recent win on the Sunshine Ladies Tour in South Africa, tied for 29th at even-par 292.
The other Indians playing in Johannesburg, Vani Kapoor, and Ridhima Dilawari finished 41st and 66th respectively.
This week, Diksha returns to the US$ 340,000 Investec South African Women’s Open which she won in 2019 and lies tied-18th after 36 holes with this weekend’s rounds yet to be played. Following this, Diksha will be the lone Indian playing next week at the US$1 million Aramco Team Series in Korea.
The other Indian girls playing, Vani Kapoor, Ridhima Dilawari and Tvesa Malik all missed the cut set at 4 over par at the South Africa Open.
