Vidhatri Urs, 18, the 2023 All India Ladies Amateur Champion from Mysore, continued her stellar debut season as a professional by securing her third title in 5 starts at the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour (Hero WPGT) 11th Leg, held at Delhi Golf Club. Urs, who turned professional in June, claimed a commanding six-shot victory in a rain-shortened event with rounds of 67-34-35, finishing at 8-under 136—the most titles won by any player this season.
WGAI current No 1 Hitaashee Bakshi, and No 2 Sneha Singh finished in 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
Last year’s WGAI No. 2, Seher Atwal scored a rare hole-in-one on the par-3, 5th hole in the final round, finishing tied for seventh alongside amateur Mannat Brar.

Hitaashee continues to lead the 2024 earnings list with almost INR 12 lacs in earnings followed by Sneha Singh at approx INR 10.5 lacs with two more events to go. This week at DLF and the final event at Golden Greens, Gurgaon, where the season champion will be crowned, will earn a coveted exemption into the Ladies European Tour’s final qualifying tournament for 2025 playing rights.
It remains to be seen if Vidhatri can keep up the momentum and mount a serious challenge to the top two despite missing the first 6 events of the WGAI season. The winner of this week’s DLF event will receive Rs 1.65 lacs.
Vidhatri’s cousin, Pranavi Urs has had an outstanding debut season on the Ladies European Tour in 2024 with one 2nd place finish, comfortably keeping her playing rights for 2025.
