Aditi Ashok, the 26-year-old golf sensation from India, broke a two-month streak of missed cuts with a solid performance at the Buick LPGA Shanghai in China. After struggling in four consecutive events—beginning with the Scottish Open and AIG Women’s Open in August, followed by the Kroger Queen City Championship and Walmart NW Arkansas Championship in September—Aditi found her form, posting rounds of 71-72-69-75 to finish tied for 55th at 1-under 287.
The two-month drought saw her slip from 62nd to 75th on the LPGA Money List, where she now stands with earnings of $394,666. She’s also dropped to 84th in the Race to CME Globe Rankings, with only the top 60 qualifying for the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship. So far in 2024, Aditi has competed in 23 events, making the cut in 14—compared to last year’s tally of 15 cuts from 20 events, which earned her 41st place in the CME Globe standings and 37th on the Money List with $784,990.
With five events remaining on the schedule, Aditi faces an uphill battle, needing several top-10 finishes to break into the top 60 and retain her full LPGA card for the 2025 season.
