Avid Delhi golfers are gearing up for the fully sold out 14th annual “Drive Against Cancer” tournament at Delhi Golf Club on Friday, November 8. Hosted by the Indian Cancer Society, the event is a prime opportunity for golfers to contribute to cancer care and awareness while playing on DGC’s prestigious Peacock Course.
The tournament is being held in a ‘Pairs’ format, with teams competing on the basis of total stableford scores of both team members over 18 holes. The winning team will earn a special opportunity to travel with airfare, hotel accommodation, and enjoy four rounds of golf at the International Pairs Festival of Golf in Hua Hin, Thailand, in March 2025.
The event promises a lively schedule, with tee-offs between 7:45 and 9:45 AM on both nines, followed by an awards lunch and raffles at 3 PM. With giveaways, on-course challenges, and mulligans for sale, there’s something for every participant to enjoy while contributing to a meaningful cause.
Proceeds from the event directly support the Indian Cancer Society’s work in raising cancer awareness, promoting early detection, and offering treatment and support to those from underserved communities. Funds also help sustain screening centers and mobile camps, providing vital resources to those in need.
