The 2024 season of the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour (WPGT) comprising 15 tournaments held during the year, concluded at Boulder Hills Golf & Country Club, Hyderabad with Delhi’s Hitaashee Bakshi, finishing #1 in the coveted Hero WPGT Rankings.
Jasmine Shekar delivered the sole bogey-free round on the last day to claim the 15th and final leg of the season with four consecutive birdies from the 14th to the 17th holes in the final round for a 68 and a four-shot lead, finishing at 8-under-par.
Challenging Jasmine was Chandigarh’s seasoned pro Amandeep Drall, who briefly led during the final round, but finished second at 4-under-par. Jasmine’s victory marked her as one of the four multiple-leg winners of 2024.
While Jasmine triumphed in the final event, Hitaashee Bakshi’s consistency throughout the year earned her the Hero WPGT Rankings title. With three wins to her name and total earnings of ₹16,55,000, Hitaashee came out on top of the field in a fiercely competitive season this year.
In the season finale, she finished tied-3rd at 3-under-par alongside Gaurika Bishnoi, Vidhatri Urs, and Nayanika Sanga.
Alongside Hitaashee’s convincing and dominant run this season, Vidhatri Urs also claimed three victories, while Jasmine Shekar and Sneha Singh each recorded two wins. There were a few single-leg victories from Amandeep Drall, Gaurika Bishnoi, Anvitha Narender, and Vani Kapoor. Notably, amateur Nishna Patel set the tone for the season by winning the opening event.
Sri Lankan amateur Kaya Daluwatte emerged as a standout player, securing the best amateur prize in the final leg with a day’s second-best score of 69 and tying for seventh overall. Her achievements reflect the growing diversity and strength of talent in South Asian women’s golf.
2024 Hero WPGT top performers:

- 3rd to 5th Places: Sneha Singh, Khushi Khanijau, and Jasmine Shekar (each surpassing ₹10,00,000 in earnings)
