The Queens of Golf’s first-ever Women’s Celebrity Pro-Am event concluded with remarkable success at the Classic Golf & Country Club in Gurugram, marking a significant step in promoting and celebrating women’s golf in India. Held on March 8th, International Women’s Day, the event brought together India’s top women professional golfers, corporate leaders, and sports personalities in a unique format that combined competition with camaraderie.

The event, hosted in partnership with the Women’s Golf Association of India (WGAI), aimed to empower female golfers and raise awareness about their professional journeys. Dignitaries in attendance included Dr. Pawan Munjal – CEO of Hero MotoCorp; Rajeev Chaba – CEO of MG Motors, Jagrut Kotecha – CEO of PepsiCo India, and former Indian Test cricketer Murali Kartik, among others.

Champika Sayal, Secretary General of WGAI, teamed up with pro golfer Khushi Khanijau to claim victory in the Team Category, Hyderabad’s Sneha Singh emerged as the winner in the Professional Stroke Play Category, and veteran Vani Kapoor was honored with the Queens of Golf All-Star Award for her outstanding contributions to the sport.
