“THE RECIPROCATING PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN GOLFRSA AND IGU HAS PROVEN POSITIVE AND BENEFICIAL. THE TEST IN INDIA PROVIDED A PLATFORM FOR OUR PLAYERS TO SHOWCASE THEIR TALENTS ON THE INTERNATIONAL STAGE AND VICE VERSA FOR THE VISITING INDIAN PLAYERS WHO CAMPAIGNED AT LEOPARD CREEK LAST YEAR…”
— GRANT HEPBURN, CEO, GOLFRSA

The inaugural event in 2016 took place at Royal Calcutta Golf Club, where the visitors prevailed over the hosts on the very last hole. Last year’s faceoff was held at Leopard Creek Country Club, South Africa, where the South Africans scored a dominant 26–6 victory over the visiting Indians.
