The Tollygunge Club, Kolkata founded in 1895 by Scottish banker William Dixon Cruickshank is among the oldest golf courses still operational in the country. The recent adoption of best maintenance practices, proper machinery , well learned and enthusiastic superintendents, has produced these photographs depicting maintenance excellence. Kudos to the Golf & Club Committee and its Head Superintendent Gaurav Pundir.
The maintenance team uses 25% organic fertilisers and 40% of its water requirement is from treated sewage.
