23-year-old LPGA regular Aditi Ashok of Bangalore carded 73-72-75-72 (4-over 292) to finish tied-67th at the $3.1mn ANA Inspiration, the first women’s major of the year at Mission Hills Country Club in California. Aditi added US$ 6,695 (₹5 lakhs) to her earnings and currently stands 166th on the Rolex Rankings.
Playing in her 16th major, Aditi made the cut for the seventh time. With this, she joins Anirban Lahiri as the only other Indian to appear in 16 majors, the most for any Indian in history. This was also her fourth start on tour in the 2021 season and she has made the cut in all of them.
