Former European and Asian Tour winners, 32-year-old Gaganjeet Bhullar and 24-year-old Shubhankar Sharma start their 2021 European Tour season at the US$ 8mn Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, from Jan. 21- 24th . They will then play the US$ 3.25mn Omega Dubai Desert Classic and US$ 3.5mn Saudi International for solid starts to the new season.
The season opener at Abu Dhabi is set to host major winners Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, Shane Lowry, Justin Rose, Henrik Stenson, Martin Kaymer and Danny Willett and will be followed by similar high profile players at the Emirates GC in the last week of January.
In early February, The Saudi International will hold its third edition, where current World No. 1 & Masters Champion Dustin Johnson will defend his title. In its inaugural 2019 edition Northern Ireland’s Graeme McDowell, , the 2010 U.S. Open champion clinched the title with DJ in 2nd place.
