20-year-old Diksha Dagar of New Delhi, only the second Indian to win on the Ladies European Tour (LET),has been recognised by Forbes magazine in the “ 30 under 30 Asia – Sports & Entertainment” category.
Diksha won the 2019 South African Ladies Open at age 18 in Johannesburg and In her current season in Europe has made 6 cuts in 11 events. Her best finish is 7th at the US$ 250,000 Women’s New South Wales Open in Australia and she recently recorded a 9th place in the Czech Ladies Challenge. What makes Diksha’s accomplishments all the more commendable is her hearing and speech impediment which she has been able to overcome.
Diksha last week met British Open champion Henrik Stenson at his tournament in Sweden.

Both players were at the inaugural Scandanavian Mixed in which Diksha, Tvesa Malik, Shubhankar Sharma and Ajeetesh Sandhu competed. While the boys missed the cut of -3, by one stroke, the ladies each missed it by two.
