Pro Golf – Japan Golf Tour
42-year-old Bangalore based Rahil Gangjee, a former Japan Tour winner, shot 67-66-65-65 (17-under par) to finish Tied 11th at the US$ 450,000 Golf Partner Pro-Am Tournament on the Japan Golf Tour, which was won by South African Shaun Norris on a total of 21 under par.

Rahil told India Golf Weekly that his usual practice round four ball in Japan includes Shaun Norris, Scott Vincent & Angelo Que , who finished 1st, 2nd & 4th this week. The fourball’s combined total score for the week was an astounding 78 under par !
Gangjee added around ₹ 7 lakhs to his kitty while making a fifth cut in six starts since his return to Japan last month. The Japan Golf Tour Organisation (JGTO) has another 20 events lined up until November. However, with his current form, he is expected to retain his card for the following year.
Gangjee is now headed to play the US$ 730,000 Mizuno Open at Setonaikai Golf Club in Okayama from May 27-30.
