Diksha during Round 1 of the Ford Women’s NSW Open at Wollongong Golf Club
The Ladies European Tour (LET) wrapped up its Australian swing with the €300,000 Ford Women’s NSW Open at Wollongong Golf Club from March 20-23. The Indian contingent delivered strong performances, with Delhi’s 24-year-old Diksha Dagar leading the way at tied-11th, followed closely by 20-year-old Pranavi Urs of Mysuru at tied-14th, and Bangalore’s rookie, 18-year-old Avani Prashanth at tied-36th.
Diksha, who lost a playoff at the LET season-opener in Morocco earlier this year, posted rounds of 67-68-69-72 to finish at 8-under 276.
England’s 23-year-old rookie Mimi Rhodes won her maiden LET title, finishing at 17-under with rounds of 67-70-62-69.
After the Australian swing, Diksha moves up to 5th in the LET Rankings, Avani is at 24th, while Pranavi sits at the 49th spot.
The LET takes a short break before heading to South Africa for two events—the Joburg Ladies Open from April 3-6, followed by the Investec SA Women’s Open.
