Anirban Lahiri at the Trump National Doral during LIV Golf Miami

India’s lone player on the LIV Golf Tour, Anirban Lahiri, wrapped up a challenging week at LIV Golf Miami with a tied-18th finish, carding a total score of 4-over-par at the Trump National Doral from April 4-6. Despite posting contrasting scores of 79 (+7) and 69 (–3) over his final two rounds, Lahiri was part of a steady team performance that saw his squad, Crushers GC, finish second in the team standings—their best result of the 2025 LIV season so far.

Australian veteran Marc Leishman secured his maiden LIV Golf individual title in Miami, delivering the only bogey-free round of the week on Sunday—a 4-under 68—to finish at 6-under for the tournament. It marked his first victory in four years, ending a stretch that included three runner-up finishes and five other top-10s since his move to LIV in 2022. Leishman’s final-round effort gave him a one-stroke win over South Africa’s Charl Schwartzel, while Sergio Garcia finished solo third at 4-under.

Leishman’s performance also led his team, Ripper GC, to the team title with a 4-over aggregate, the first time a team has won with an over-par score in LIV Golf history, thanks to the windy conditions in Miami.

Lahiri’s team captain, DeChambeau, who shared the lead after eight holes on Sunday, slipped out of contention following a bogey and a double bogey at the turn, which ended his individual title hopes.

12 LIV players are competing in the Masters this week—the first major of the 2025 golf season. This number is down from 18 in 2023, as LIV players continue to fall in the World Rankings since the LIV Tour, controversially, has not been awarded ranking points status. The list includes:

  • Charl Schwartzel
  • Sergio Garcia
  • Bryson DeChambeau
  • Phil Mickelson
  • Patrick Reed
  • Cameron Smith
  • Jon Rahm
  • Brooks Koepka
  • Dustin Johnson
  • Tyrrell Hatton
  • Bubba Watson
  • Joaquin Niemann

The LIV Tour will move to its next stop at Club de Golf Chapultepec in Mexico, with the sixth event of the season scheduled from April 25-27.
