Golfers were full of energy during the tournament
The 12th Annual TiE Eagles CEO Golf Tournament concluded successfully at the Hyderabad Golf Club (HGA) on February 22, bringing together top executives and entrepreneurs for two days of intense competition and high-powered networking. The event saw 95 hand-picked invitees, including 25 traveling from Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Delhi, and a few from overseas locations including Singapore and Colombo, representing global corporations such as Bank of America, Nike, Salesforce, McDonald’s, and Apollo.

Participants gathered before teeing off
Since its inception in 2012, the TiE Eagles CEO annual golf event has grown into a premier platform for fostering connections between emerging entrepreneurs and established business leaders.
“Golf is a sport that humbles you. A single round reveals more about a person’s character than multiple business meetings,” said Murali Bukkapatnam, the newly elected Global Chair of the TiE Global Board of Trustees. He emphasised how the tournament has evolved into an essential networking opportunity for young entrepreneurs.

The competition followed an individual format, but fourballs included TiE Hyderabad charter members with players from various industries, which helped facilitate meaningful interactions. The course layout, coupled with the game’s inherent demand for focus and skill, engaged the participants.
A pre-event practice round for outstation golfers and a networking dinner set the tone for the tournament, with over 100 attendees, including visiting golfers and TiE non-golfer charter members. The evening featured engaging discussions accompanied by live saxophone music, making for a perfect ambience.

The MG Windsor EV was in the spotlight
TiE Hyderabad President Rajesh Pagadala underscored the tournament’s role in elevating the city’s entrepreneurial landscape. “This platform has the potential to gain global recognition, reinforcing TiE Hyderabad’s position as a key hub for innovation and leadership,” he noted.
With the successful conclusion of the 12th Annual TiE Eagles CEO Golf Tournament, a trail of strategic partnerships, new business connections, and an appreciation for the shared values of golf and leadership continues.
