Kartik Singh won a record seven times in 2022
Kartik Singh, who turns 13 on January 5th 2023 has achieved a record of winning all 7 of the IGU National Junior Tournaments in 2022 in his age group including December’s IGU All India Juniors at KGA, Bangalore, which Kartik won in his age category by a whopping margin of 10 strokes. Perhaps the first time this feat of winning all 7 has been achieved in any age group in Indian junior golf history.
Kartik started golf at the age of five and a half while his father who is a Naval Officer was posted at Kochi. They are now posted in New Delhi and Kartik trains at the DLF GC Academy and is part of their excellence program and while Kartik enters 2023 in a higher age category he is expected to dominate that category as well. He routinely shoots sub par scores and carries an official handicap of +2.
Having qualified for a number of prestigious international junior events in USA and Europe to be held this summer, he is looking forward to an exciting year ahead.
