Gaganjeet Bhullar is looking for his win No. 12 on the Asian Tour
The International Series England, the fourth of eight International Series events on the 2024 Asian Tour, will feature a strong contingent of 15 Indians led by Gaganjeet Bhullar, who finished third on the final 2023 Asian Tour Rankings and has the most victories by any Indian on the Asian Tour, with 11.
Also to be seen in action will be Dubai-bred Indian national Rayhan Thomas, who finished 8th at the last International Series event in Morocco, one of his first five starts since joining the pro ranks after graduating this summer from the renowned Oklahoma State golf program.
The International Series event offers a whopping US$2 million purse, with the winner getting US$360,000, and provides a vital path for Asian players to get onto the lucrative LIV Golf Tour. Several LIV Tour players, including Anirban Lahiri, will be seen in action at the England event.
In 2024, Indians have failed to make a big impact at the International Series, and it remains to be seen if they can turn that around in England this week.
