Gaganjeet Bhullar is set to make his Olympic debut in Paris

The International Series Morocco, the third of 8 International Series events on the 2024 Asian Tour, will feature an impressive contingent of 15 Indian participants. Leading the group is Gaganjeet Bhullar, who finished 3rd on the final 2023 Asian Tour rankings. So far in 2024, Chandigarh native Karandeep Kochhar, at 60th, is the highest-ranked Indian in the series.

The International Series, which features minimum purses of US$ 1 million, has its own ranking, offering the top player a lucrative direct entry to the LIV Golf Tour. Bhullar, who finished 8th in last year’s International Series rankings, is aiming to improve his standing with five events remaining.

The Asian Tour, offering higher Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) points compared to the Asian Development Tour (ADT) and the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), is the premier international platform for subcontinent golfers. This pathway is crucial for Indian players to raise their rankings and qualify for major championships.
