Aditi Ashok
A second round 69 enabled Aditi Ashok to recover from an opening round 76 and make the cut at the US$ 5mn Chevron Championship, the season’s first major at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California. She finished with rounds of 74-73 to finish in 71st place at 4-over 292.
Ashok has made four cuts in five events on the LPGA in 2022, earning over US$ 60,000 to stand 44th on the LPGA’s money list for the season so far.
The tournament was won by 24-year-old Jennifer Kupcho, winner of the 2019 Augusta National Women’s Amateur who shot 14-under 274 to win her first LPGA title ahead of World no 27 Jessica Korda.
