Aditi continues to struggle in 2024
26-year-old Aditi Ashok, who is looking forward to representing India for a third time at the Paris Olympics, carded rounds of 73-70-72-74 to register a tied-66th place finish at 5-over 289 at the US$ 3.75mn JM Eagle LA Championship.
Last year, Aditi carded rounds of 66-70-72-67 to register a joint second finish at the same event after losing in a three-way playoff against Australian Hannah Green and Lin Xiyu of China, where Green eventually won the title on the second extra hole.
Green even successfully defended her title after shooting 67-69-70-66 for a three-shot win at 12-under 272.
Last week Aditi finished tied-62nd at the Chevron Championship, the first major of the LPGA season.
This season, Aditi has played in seven events, with 6 made cuts and a best finish of 21st at the HSBC Women’s World Championship in Singapore to stand 85th on the LPGA’s Money List at US$ 68,902.
