Aditi continues to deliver on the LPGA
Aditi Ashok, 26, from Bangalore, who is headed to Paris this week for her third Olympic appearance, carded rounds of 65-72-68-74 to finish at 5-under 279 at the US$1.75 million Dana Open in Ohio.
Aditi started strong with a 65 in her opening round, lying in 2nd place. However, subsequent rounds of 72, 68, and 74 saw her finish in a tied-33rd position.
For her performance, Aditi earned US$11,160, moving her up to 59th on the Tour’s Money List with US$370,726, and 74th in the LPGA’s Race to CME Globe Season standings. This virtually secures her LPGA playing rights for the 2025 season, which will mark her eighth consecutive year on the LPGA tour since players in the top 80 on the CME points list fit into Category 1 of the LPGA Priority List, ensuring full playing privileges.
All eyes will be on Aditi next week in Paris to see if she can repeat the form that saw her finish 4th at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics golf competition.
