Aditi Ashok registers season’s best in Michigan
26-year-old former Arjuna Awardee Aditi Ashok, who had her career-best season in 2023, carded rounds of 68-70-69-71 to record her season-best finish of tied-17th at 10-under 278 at the US$3mn Meijer LPGA Classic in Michigan.
Approximately halfway through the 2024 LPGA season, Aditi has been consistent, making 9 cuts in 12 events, but lies in 82nd place on the rankings and has to finish in the top 100 to keep her full LPGA Tour playing rights for 2025.

This week, Aditi will play her 29th major, the most of any Indian golfer in history, the US$ 10.4 mn KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, in the state of Washington, USA. She has qualified for all the majors in 2024 based on her top-60 final LPGA 2023 ranking. With a lucrative purse on offer at the majors, these are great opportunities for Aditi to boost her ranking and to pick up a big cheque.
