Aditi Ashok shot an opening round 72 to stand T-13 at Paris Olympics
Aditi Ashok, had another good week on the LPGA Tour in her build up to the Olympic Women’s event in Paris, finishing 22nd at the US$1.75 million Portland Classic, and was in 12th after carding rounds of 70-67-65 but her final 72 dropped her down the leaderboard a bit.
All eyes will be on Aditi this week as she lines up in Paris for her third Olympic appearance, where she and Diksha Dagar will compete for the second time.
Aditi’s finish positions her at 61st on the Tour’s Money List with total 2024 Tour earnings of US$388,432 and 74th in the LPGA’s Rankings which virtually secures her LPGA playing rights for the 2025 season, her eighth consecutive season at only age 26. Players in the top 80 on the LPGA’s CME Points list earn automatic full playing privileges.
