Sneha Singh (A) winner of Hero WPGT’s Leg 8 in Gurugram
With the top one third of Indian lady pros playing in Europe, amateurs took 3 of the top 4 spots at the Hero Women’s Professional Golf Tour’s (Hero WPGT) at Golden Greens Golf Club in Gurugram. 16-year-old amateur Sneha Singh of Hyderabad shot 73-71-69 (3-under 213) to claim her third title on the Tour by a large 5 stroke margin.
Amateurs Khusi Hooda and 15 year old Avani Prashanth finished in 2nd and 4th place respectively.
The winning pro cheque went to Siddhi Kapoor with 74-71-74 for 3-over 219 while last week’s winner 18 year old Jahanvi Bakshi was 2nd among pro’s at 4-over 220 followed by her sister Hitaashee Bakshi at 6-over 222.
The Tour now heads to Noida for the 3rd consecutive event in NCR.
