16-year-old former Noida girl Anika Varma, now completing high school in Sacramento, California, notched up a highly creditable 2nd place finish at the super competitive West Coast Women’s Amateur in California from July 26-28 with scores of 72-74-72 (2-over 218).

Anika won a Junior event in Nevada, was 2nd at the California Junior State Championship and finished tied-5th at the California Women’s Amateur while closing her extraordinary 2021 summer amateur season, as her school – Granite Bay in Sacramento has reopened and classes are scheduled to begin normally once again.
